Shipping, duties and taxes

How we ship

Every order is shipped from Algeria by DHL Express. The shipping price is calculated by DHL for your address and parcel and is shown on the payment page before you pay, together with the time until which it is valid.

Delivery times and tracking

Delivery times are estimates given by DHL. They are not guaranteed, and customs clearance can add time in either country. When your parcel is shipped we email you its tracking number, which you can follow on DHL's site.

Import duties and taxes

Goods sent to another country can be charged import duties, taxes (such as VAT) and customs fees. The payment page tells you, before you pay, which of the following applies to your order:

• Duties and taxes included: the duties and taxes estimated for your order are part of your total. ElBay pays them to the authorities, and you have nothing more to pay on delivery.
• Duties and taxes on delivery: duties, taxes and any DHL fee for handling them are not part of your total. DHL or your customs authority collects them from you before handing over the parcel. The amount depends on your country's rules.

Your delivery details

Please give a complete address and a telephone number where DHL can reach you. If a parcel is refused, is not collected, or cannot be delivered because the duties due on it are not paid, it may be returned to Algeria or abandoned in customs. This is not covered by our refunds policy; write to support@elbay.online and we will tell you what can be done.

Customs declarations

Every parcel is declared to customs with an accurate description of its contents and the price you actually paid. We cannot declare an order as a gift or at a lower value. Some products are restricted or prohibited in some countries; if you are unsure whether a product can be imported where you live, ask us before you pay.
